The Preferred Drug and Alcohol Rehabilitation Center for Substance Abuse Treatment

Brighton Center for Recovery has been treating alcohol and drug addiction for over 60 years. We are one of the nation’s leading alcohol and drug treatment centers and we welcome you to our campus. Whether you have a loved one staying in our substance abuse center, or you are looking for the best alcohol and drug rehabilitation center for yourself or someone you know, Brighton Center for Recovery is honored to welcome you.

Situated on a 92 acre campus, Brighton Center for Recovery is located in Brighton, MI, a quiet suburb of Detroit. The beautiful views and continued upkeep of the facility creates a feeling of serenity and peace to all who visit. With rolling hills, gazebos, ponds, hiking trails, and gardens, Brighton Center for Recovery provides a wonderful example of the beauty of the four seasons in Michigan. Although many of our patients come from the Metro Detroit area, we also serve individuals from other cities throughout the U.S and Canada. We hope that you will choose us for your addiction rehab care, too.

What can visitors do while spending time at our drug rehabilitation center?

Visitors can enjoy hiking the nearby nature trails, golfing, camping, boating, biking, petting zoos, and more. Island State Park and Brighton State Park are very close to our facility, as well as Kensington Metropark and Huron Meadows Metropark. Our Regional Information page also includes links to area hotels for visitors who need to stay nearby.

As a friend or family member of a patient in recovery, we encourage you to join our Chit Chat meetings and Friends and Family program to provide your loved ones with additional support.

While you are visiting our campus, be sure to stop by our Gift Shop. Located in the main building adjacent to the lobby, the Gift Shop carries various convenience items and recovery literature for our guests. Visitors can purchase items or make deposits in patients’ gift shop accounts. All Gift Shop proceeds support the Patient Extended Care Program.

For those who are interested in educational materials about alcohol and substance abuse, the Staywell Library is a wonderful online resource filled with informative articles.
