Brighton Center for Recovery Annual Golf Classic

Annual GOLF CLASSIC Events

For most of Brighton’s history an annual golf classic has raised funds to support the needs of those wanting to recover from the disease of addiction.

The golf funds make it possible for Brighton to continue to provide care for patients and their families whose only barrier to treatment is financial through patient scholarships and expanded services.  The 2011 Annual Brighton Golf Classic has provided support for the Children’s Addiction Prevention Program to help youngsters ages 7-12 understand addiction so they may be better prepared to break the family legacy of addiction.  The golf classic has netted nearly $300,000 since 2006.

The great people who serve on the golf committee are already working to plan the event for 2012.  The plan is to continue at Lakelands Golf and Country Club in Brighton, where we continue to enjoy challenges of the course, wonderful food and super friendships.  Golfers are genuinely interested in golfing to support Brighton and those who work one day at a time for recovery.

The selection of silent auction items continues to grow with exciting additions every year.  The raffle items also create added interest to the celebration.

We look forward to bringing you the latest news on the 2012 Annual Brighton Golf Classic as soon as we can.  Should you have questions, want to commit to a sponsorship or submit auction items please call 810-225-2542.
