Brighton Center for Recovery is a national leader and world-renowned drug and alcohol addiction treatment facility. Since 1950, we have helped thousands of patients to achieve sobriety and leave behind the pain of chemical addiction. Though we have treated individuals from all over North America, many of our patients are Canadian. We are located right across the US border and due to our close proximity to Windsor, Ontario (74 kilometers) we see many patients from our neighboring country. Our goal is to help all patients to achieve sobriety and give them the life long tools they will need to maintain that lifestyle once they return home.
Canadian currency is gratefully accepted at par for patient treatment at our clinic.

Types of Addiction Treatment
Brighton Center for Recovery’s highly effective addiction treatment programs include input from several addiction experts including physicians, nurses, chemical dependency counselors and recovery case managers. Each patient’s progress is monitored regularly by our addiction treatment team, and involves counseling, disease education and medication.
We offer drug treatment for addiction to a wide range of substances as well as alcohol. We also understand that many people suffer from addiction to two or more substances simultaneously – dual addiction or dual diagnosis. Our knowledgeable staff are trained and experienced at handling these complex addictions. We also address other behaviors that may complicate addiction recovery, such as compulsive gambling, eating disorders, codependency and compulsive sexual behaviors.
The type of substance abuse treatment a patient receives depends upon many factors, including the specific substance, the amount and frequency of use, prior addiction treatment history and motivation to change. All levels of care prepare patients to return to their previous environment with new skills to help maintain sobriety, prevent relapse and continue recovery.
