Auricular Acupuncture Training & Certification
We offer NADA Certified Auricular Acupuncture
Training
Virginia M. June LMSW, CAAC, RT, ADS is a registered trainer through
the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association, (NADA) a nationally
recognized and established association. She is a Licensed Master Social
Worker and a Certified Advanced Addiction Counselor. She currently serves
as the Director of Integrative Therapies at Brighton Hospital and has been
conducting quarterly trainings at Brighton Hospital for the past four
years.
Auricular Acupuncture available at Brighton
Hospital
Brighton Hospital is now offering outpatient
auricular (ear) acupuncture treatments to the general public from
5:30 pm until 7:00 pm on Friday evenings. Fees are per session,
payable at time of service. Cash or check only.
Individuals must make reservations and obtain fees by calling the
Customer Service Representatives at 1-877-9SOBER1 (1-877-976-2371)
as there is a maximum of 12 per session. Friday night 12-step
meetings start at 7:30 pm., so please allow ample time for your
session.
Note:
Brighton Hospital Integrative Therapies is also offering
auricular (ear) acupuncture treatments on Monday, Wednesday and
Friday from 9:30 am – 11:00 am. Payment and reservations are as
above.

Treatments are offered in our new Auricular Acupuncture Suite on
the lower (garden) level of the Main Hospital Building, convenient
to 12 step meeting rooms. The suite offers new over padded,
comfortable lounge chairs in a serene setting ideal for shedding
stress.

Cost is $500.00 payable to Brighton Hospital. All trainings are held at Brighton Hospital 9:00 am until 5:00 pm Wednesday, Thursday and Friday.

For Michigan residents: this training is approved by MCBAP for 22 CAC credits specific to substance abuse.
Training includes: training manual, sharps container, practice ears, needles, alcohol prep pads, continental breakfast and lunch on all three days and lots of experiential learning.
I am available to come to your agency if you have 5 or more individuals to attend training.
