Dr. Brooks has been on the drug addiction treatment staff with Brighton Center for Recovery since July 2001, serving initially as the Medical Director. Dr. Brooks is also a consultant for the Michigan Healthcare Professionals Recovery Corporation and the Physician Well-Being Committee with St. Joseph Mercy Health System. He is actively involved in the education of students and health professionals at the University of Michigan Medical School, University of Detroit Mercy College of Health Professions and Wayne State University. Dr. Brooks also is an active speaker on addiction and dual diagnosis.
