Dr. Gehrke has many years experience in the substance abuse field as well as working with health professionals in Michigan. Currently, Dr. Gehrke comes to Brighton Center for Recovery to review and advise the Counseling Staff on the HPRP Program, (Health Professionals Recovery Program). He also is a Clinical Professor at the University of Michigan Medical Center and a Certified Medical Review Officer. Dr. Gehrke has co-authored numerous articles, wrote book chapters, papers and manuals concerning Substance Abuse Disorders and Treatment Guides.
