Richard Kramer, Vice President of Development
Richard Kramer has been a fund raising professional since 1971 and has worked in public broadcasting, universities, hospitals, academic health science centers and children’s hospitals. He graduated cum laude from Union College in Schenectady, New York with a B.S. in Sciences. Kramer’s first health care fund raising post was at St. Clare’s Hospital in Schenectady, New York. He also served as chief advancement officer at Sinai Hospital of Detroit; Albert Einstein Medical Center, Philadelphia; Providence-St. Joseph Medical Center, Burbank, California; Albany Medical Center and Albany Medical College, N.Y.; University of Cincinnati Medical Center, including the Colleges of Medicine, Nursing and Pharmacy; and the Children’s Hospital of Michigan. Kramer is a certified member of the Association for Healthcare Philanthropy (AHP). He has co-chaired a number of AHP regional conferences and served on the boards of civic, arts, religious and educational institutions. Kramer joined Brighton Hospital in 2006.
