Our Family Treatment Center - Substance Abuse Program

For every person in drug or alcohol treatment, at least six to ten friends or family members are affected. Because they need rehab and recovery as much as the one who is addicted, our clinic offers the Family and Friends program.

In order to create a strong recovery system from substance abuse, we encourage anyone in a patient’s life who wants to learn about chemical dependence to join us for special lectures, discussion groups and one-on-one sessions designed to answer your questions and address your concerns. Program sessions take place at our family treatment center on Wednesday and Saturday afternoons, from noon to 5:30 p.m.

We encourage families and friends to enter and complete the program, even if the patient has just been admitted to our rehab clinic or discharged from inpatient care. While we have no open visiting at our treatment center, the program allows each patient generous amounts of shared time. Children are welcome to attend as long as they are accompanied by an adult.

For more information on our substance abuse treatment program for friends and families, please call our clinic at 1-877-976-2371 or complete our Secure Online Admission Form. Our Customer Service representatives are available 8 a.m.-11:30 p.m. Monday-Friday; 8 a.m.-6:30 p.m. weekends. Please remember that we may not be able to acknowledge your family member or friend’s presence at our treatment center due to federal confidentiality laws.

At Brighton Hospital, we’re mending lives.  Our multidisciplinary team of family substance abuse rehab experts know that chemical dependency is a disease — not a weakness. We know that recovery is possible based on the thousands of patients and their loved ones that we’ve helped in our family rehab clinic since 1950.  In addition to our family treatment program, we offer specialty services for teen drug and alcohol rehab, clergy and medical worker recovery, women’s trauma, and men’s and women’s transitional housing.
