Alcohol and drug addiction is like a drop of water
falling on a still lake: the resulting ripples touch everyone. We also
understand that recovery from substance abuse is hard work and deserves
support and recognition. Brighton Hospital acknowledges both of these
realities with our family therapy and drug addiction support programs, Friends
and Family Therapy Program, Chit Chat
Substance Abuse Meetings, Tune-Up Drug
Addiction Support for Alumni and Michigan
Driver’s License Restoration Assessment.
Friends and Family: A Family Therapy and
Substance Abuse Group
Family and friends of Brighton Hospital rehab
patients are encouraged to join our lectures, discussion groups, and
one-on-one sessions to learn more about chemical dependency as a disease
and the support role of families and friends in their loved one’s therapy
and recovery.
Chit Chat: A Drug Addiction Support Meeting
and Substance Abuse Group
An informal weekly support group
meeting for those in the community who are affected by someone in
rehab. Answers questions about chemical dependency and addiction,
and offers support for those dealing with the impact of another’s drug
addiction. Facilitated by a family therapy
counselor.
Tune-Up: Alumni Drug Addiction Support and
Sobriety Events
Brighton Hospital alumni are welcomed to events
involving talk, camaraderie, coining to honor successful recovery and
celebration of sobriety. Call 1-877-976-2371 for dates and times of upcoming
