12-Step Programs and Support Groups – Metro Detroit, Michigan

Our treatment programs are based on the approach of the Alcoholics Anonymous an Narcotics Anonymous 12-step programs. In order for patients to become familiar with 12-step recovery programs while in treatment, Brighton Hospital hosts regular 12-step and community meetings in or around Brighton, MI for Alcoholics Anonymous, Narcotics Anonymous, Cleptomaniacs and Shoplifters Anonymous, Sex Addicts Anonymous, Co-Dependents of Sexual Addiction, Al-Anon (a support group for family members and friends of those addicted to alcohol) and Chit Chat (a support group for those close to a patient and dealing with the affects of addiction in their lives). We also encourage our patients to participate in appropriate 12-step programs following their discharge.
