Inpatient Substance Abuse Treatment: Partial Hospitalization at our Rehab Facilities

Brighton’s rehab facilities offer several types of alcohol and drug rehab programs, including inpatient substance abuse treatment, outpatient rehabilitation counseling and partial hospitalization.  Inpatient refers to a patient who resides day and/or night at Brighton's rehab facilities during their treatment program.  Residential also refers to an inpatient program.  Many drug rehab programs, such as those for meth, heroin, cocaine, crack, marijuana, prescription drugs and alcoholism may require that a patient remain at our clinic, at least part of the time, to effectively recover from their addiction.

The Domiciliary Partial Hospitalization Program is an inpatient level of substance abuse treatment. Although it’s called partial hospitalization, patients do stay overnight at the Brighton Hospital inpatient rehab facilities. This residential drug and alcohol treatment program is recommended when patients need a more structured environment to maintain sobriety, but with less clinical intensity than is offered in our Rehabilitation Program. Partial Hospitalization patients participate in group therapy, educational sessions and weekly counseling. Medication management, personal time management and creating a daily structure are among the self-care skills patients learn under staff supervision.
