Hospital Projects Needing Charitable Donations
Brighton Hospital is seeking support from its friends and donors for a number of 2008-09 projects. For more information on making a gift or pledge to support these initiatives, contact the Development Office at 810-225-2590 or give@brightonhospital.org or donation online.
Women’s Halfway House
Brighton Hospital is seeking support for capital construction and programming costs for the Women’s Halfway House. Your gift will help provide services for house residents, such as bachelor’s level therapists in the home seven days per week.
Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program
Brighton Hospital is seeking support for its Adolescent Intensive Outpatient Program (AIOP), one of just two such programs in Southeast Michigan. The program treats teens ages 13-17 with substance abuse and/or dependency issues. It also provides aftercare treatment and a 12-step group, which is open to all teens in recovery.
30-Day Clergy Recovery Program
Alcohol, prescription and drug abuse makes no distinction to race, color, gender, profession, class or education level. Chemical dependency affects religious leaders as well. Brighton Hospital is seeking support for its non-denominational 30-Day Clergy Recovery Program, which is open to clergy of all faiths.
Ludington Peace Center Renovation
Brighton Hospital seeks to renovate its non-denominational Ludington Peace Center, which was built in 1939 and donated to Brighton Hospital in 1960. The Ludington Peace Center represents spirituality, faith, and hope – all the key ingredients for a successful recovery. In addition, the Ludington Peace Center will also host special services and lectures for clergy of all faiths through the 30-Day Clergy Recovery Program.
Campus Master Plan Brighton Hospital is seeking support for architectural and site master planning options for its 92-acre campus. Space utilization, future program expansion, development of on-campus living and on-campus urgent care and diagnostic capabilities, water and waste planning, and lakeside development all add up to the need for a sophisticated and future-oriented campus master plan.
