Brighton Hospital Visitor Center:

The Drug Rehabilitation Center Preferred by Patients Among Leading Drug Rehab Centers for Substance Abuse Treatment

To the visitors of Brighton Hospital, one of the nationally leading alcohol and drug rehab centers in the country, we welcome you to our campus.  There are many reasons why you may be planning a visit.  Perhaps you have a loved one staying in our substance abuse center or are looking for the best alcohol and drug rehabilitation center for someone you know who needs treatment.  Maybe you are searching broadly for drug rehab centers hoping to find the right one for your own needs?  Regardless of the reason why you are considering a visit to Brighton, we would be honored to have you here.

Our hospital is located on 92 acres in Brighton MI, within the Metro Detroit area.  We are a national leader for drug and alcohol treatment centers and one of the oldest and most experienced in the many forms of rehabilitation.  Many of our patients come from the Metro Detroit area of Michigan.  Yet, we often serve individuals from other cities throughout the U.S and Canada as well.  Our alcohol and drug rehabilitation center offers customized and individualized treatment programs for each patient, knowing that no two individuals and no two addictions are exactly like.  Plus, patients sense the total commitment of a workforce in which a majority of associates are in recovery themselves or are adult children of alcoholics.  These are just a few of the reasons why those seeking treatment and their families pass over other highly regarded drug rehab centers and choose us from the among the best in North America.  We hope that you will choose us for rehab care too.

What can visitors do while spending time at our drug rehabilitation center?

In addition to the 92 acres of our beautiful campus - which includes Lake Serenity - visitors can also enjoy nature trails, golf, camping, boating, biking, petting zoos and more at several Michigan state parks, such as Island State Park and Brighton State Park; Michigan metroparks, such as Kensington Metropark and Huron Meadows Metropark, and other recreation areas and lakes within a short drive of our substance abuse center. Our Regional Information page also includes links to area hotels for visitors who need to stay nearby.

As a friend or family member of a patient in recovery, we encourage you to join our Chit Chat meetings and Friends and Family program, as we know that this additional support benefits our substance abuse patients on the road to recovery.

While you're visiting our campus, be sure to stop by the Gift Shop. Located on the garden (lower) level of the main building in the Burdick Room, the Gift Shop carries various convenience items and recovery literature for our guests. Visitors can purchase items or make deposits in patients' gift shop accounts. All Gift Shop proceeds support the Patient Extended Care Program.

The Staywell Library is a wonderful online resource filled with educational materials and informative articles about alcohol and substance abuse.
