We're proud of the thousands of Brighton alumni who
are experiencing the joy of sobriety. It's energizing to hear back from
each and every graduate about how our drug treatment program helped them.
Recovery though, doesn't end when treatment is over. In order to help
solidify the gains made in treatment, we encourage every Brighton graduate
to take advantage of the celebratory sobriety meetings, support groups and
other resources available to them through our alumni programs.
Some of Brighton's sobriety resources include:
Tune-Up: Sobriety Support Meetings and Events
for Brighton Alumni
Each May, August and November, we host Tune-Up,
half-day meetings and celebrations of sobriety for the Brighton graduate
and their friends and family. Each Tune-Up sobriety support event features a guest speaker, coining ceremony and an
opportunity to share feelings of gratitude.
Henderson House Alumni and Support
Group
As a graduate of Brighton, you can appreciate firsthand
the impact that transitional housing has on recovery. If you are
interested in participating in the formation of a sobriety support group
for alumni of Brighton Hospital's Henderson
House, please contact Scott Schultz at 810-225-2585 or hendersonhouse@brightonhospital.org.
Graduate Volunteer
Opportunities
Our volunteer program
is focused on making our hospital a center of hope, healing and motivation
for patients and families recovering from addiction and living with
sobriety. Many of our volunteers are dedicated Brighton Hospital alumni,
and as a graduate, we encourage you to consider sharing your time. If
you'd like more information on being an alumni volunteer, please visit our Volunteer
Opportunities page.
