The Health Professional Recovery Program (HPRP)
Help support treatment for those who are in the HPRP program who are struggling with addiction AND earn continuing education credit at the same time by attending Brighton Hospital's Annual HPRP event. 100% of all proceeds will be used towards addiction treatment for those in the HPRP program.

Lawyers and Judges Assistance Program (LJAP)
SAVE THE DATE!
Thursday, April 15, 2010 at Meadowbrook Country Club in Northville, MI The annual LJAP event with keynote speaker Dr. Amiram Elwork, the author of the book Stress Management for Lawyers: How to Increase Personal and Professional Satisfaction in the Law.
Dr. Elwork is the President of the Vorkell Group and the Director of Clinical Law Psychology at Widner University (related article).

Tickets are $100 and all proceeds benefit the Richard L. Steinberg Fund, which helps chemically dependent attorneys get treatment (related article).

CHIT CHAT
Location: Brighton Main room

Chit Chat is a weekly discussion group that answers basic questions about chemical dependence and offers support to those close to the patient who are also dealing with the affects of addiction in their lives.

12 STEP PROGRAMS

Brighton Hospital hosts regular community meetings for the following
12-Step Programs:

  • Co-Dependents of Sexual Addiction
  • Kleptomaniacs and Shoplifters Anonymous

FRIENDS AND FAMILY PROGRAMS & WORKSHOPS

Family and Friends of Brighton Hospital patients are encouraged to join our lectures, discussion groups and one-on-one sessions in the Friends and Family Program. You can also participate in our Family Retreat Weekend, a workshop series that helps family and friends understand addiction and its rippling effects.

FUND RAISING EVENTS
Brighton Hospital has special fund raising events throughout the year. These events help raise needed funds for treatment programs and facilities, patients without insurance coverage, and training and research.

TUNE-UP
To honor our patients and the changes they've made in their lives, Brighton Hospital alumni and their family and friends are invited to Tune-Up, held in May, August and November.
