Sometimes a family just needs a highly focused, drug
and alcohol rehabilitation retreat in order to jump start the recovery
process, or to strengthen the family recovery system already
initiated. By "getting away" from the regular routines of life and
rehab, families and friends are able to enjoy education, presentations,
and camaraderie, which allows them to renew,
refresh and re-energize for the recovery process still ahead.

The Brighton Family Retreat is a weekend long rehab,
offering drug and alcohol rehabilitation resources through an empowering
event designed for those coping with an addicted loved one. While at camp,
patients and family benefit from educational and interactive sessions
focused on different roles that play out within a family struggling with
drug and alcohol addiction and rehabilitation. Brighton’s rehab
retreat presentations typically include keynote speakers discussing topics
of family drug and alcohol addiction, relationships, and the
rehabilitation process. Specialty breakout sessions and open forum time
for questions about addiction and rehab round out the retreat weekend.

rehabilitation, families can also participate in Chit
Chat, a family drug and alcohol rehab meeting, and the Friends
and Family Program, an intensive family program of drug and alcohol
rehab meetings and support groups. Our drug treatment programs
include rehab for some of the most common chemical dependencies affecting
families today: alcohol, meth, marijuana, cocaine, crack, and heroin; vicodin, oxycontin and
other prescription pain killer abuse.
