Speaker: Dr. Michael Brooks, D.O. Brighton Hospital Psychiatric Chair will give a talk titled, "Pharmaceutical Medications in the Treatment of Addiction"

About the program

• Brighton Hospital is Michigan's leading treatment center for the HPRP program.
• Addiction is a disease that has a hurt many of those in the healthcare industry especially nurses!
• By the time healthcare professionals seek treatment, many lack the funding required for treatment and monitoring. Some cannot afford the co-pays and other need to extend their treatment beyond what their insurance will cover.
• Brighton Hospitals HPRP scholarships will help pay for co-pays, pay for longer treatment should patient require it (including domiciliary treatment and/or at one of the two halfway houses).
• Over 80% of Brighton's HPRP participants are nurses.
