Dr. Schwarz joined Brighton Hospital as a Fellow on August 15, 2007, becoming the second physician to join the Hospital Fellowship Program. Dr. Schwarz received many honors during his education, and was a Clinical Instructor in Surgery, Trauma Division in 1993 at the Medical College of Ohio (now University of Toledo). After initially training in Plastic Surgery at the University of Michigan, he left to pursue business and finance, including Medical-Legal Consulting with a specialty firm in Chicago. He returned to the University of Michigan, Plastic Surgery Division in 2004, where he worked in the Craniofacial Research Laboratory helping develop and manage Undergraduate Courses and mentoring pre-med, and medical students.
