Meet the Staff at our Drug Treatment Facilities:
Charles F. Gehrke, M.D. Staff Physician
Medical School: University of Michigan Dr. Gehrke joined the staff of Brighton Hospital in October 2007. He was a Hematology/Oncology physician for twenty-two years in private practice along with many years experience in the Substance Abuse field and working with the Health Professionals in Michigan. Currently, Dr. Gehrke comes to Brighton Hospital to review and advise the Counseling Staff on the HPRP Program, (Health Professionals Recovery Program). He also is a Clinical Professor at the University of Michigan Medical Center and a Certified Medical Review Officer. Dr. Gehrke has co-authored numerous articles, wrote book chapters, papers and manuals concerning Substance Abuse Disorders and Treatment Guides. Distinguished Panelists discuss the issue of RELAPSE from addiction recovery at the Lawyers and Judges Assistance Program event run jointly by Brighton Hospital and the State Bar of Michigan |
