Brighton Hospital Featured on Montel Williams Show In February 2007, Brighton Hospital President Denise Bertin-Epp was featured on the Montel Williams Show. The nationally syndicated program – which aired to 2.5 million viewers – discussed the family dynamic in treating drug and alcohol addiction. The episode, titled “Breaking Addiction: Saving a Family,” included Bertin-Epp; Dr. Alicia Salzar, director of After-Care for the Montel Williams Show; and a mother and daughter who are both battling addiction. The program highlighted the national reputation of Brighton Hospital as a well-respected program for addiction treatment. "We were delighted to have the opportunity to speak about this subject nationally because there are approximately 15 million Americans addicted to prescription drugs,” Bertin-Epp said. “The topic needs attention." |
