Meet Our Drug Counselors and Addiction Doctors

For more than 50 years, Brighton Hospital has been on the cutting edge of substance abuse treatment. Our team of addiction doctors, drug counselors, nurses and therapists are committed to providing high-quality drug and alcohol rehabilitation care using a compassionate and patient-centered approach. Brighton's multi-disciplinary team of rehab doctors and drug counselors are experts in addiction medicine treatment and provide substance abuse assessments, hospital treatment, consultation and outpatient follow-up.  This dedicated addiction treatment medical staff is the driving force behind Brighton's comprehensive and innovative rehabilitation care, and the reason why so many patients choose us over other highly regarded substance abuse treatment programs.

At Brighton, we feel that our advantage is the compassionate and experienced rehab doctors and substance abuse counselors who have committed themselves to lifelong treatment of addiction.  Many of them are also recovering addicts, and know firsthand that the disease of addiction doesn't discriminate.  "I've been there, I can relate" says Dr. Menestrina, Director of Brighton's Detox Center.  "I know how hard the recovery process is, but I also know that the act of reaching out to others helps keep me sober.  And I know only too well that part of the recovery process is making amends for all the things I did.  By working here, I try to make amends.  Working in this field, for me, is the greatest blessing."
